Senator LUDLAM: As an example, what freedom of information rules apply to the centre? Some of the agencies are completely immune and some of them are not-that is one example.

Answer:

The separate agencies co-located in the ACSC will be guided by their separate legislative and policy mandates. The Freedom of Information Act 1982 will continue to apply to all agencies co-located in the ACSC except those not subject to the Act. They will remain exempt from FOI requests.
