Higher Education

Lee is the Australian Greens spokesperson on higher education which includes vocational education and training (VET).  The Greens recognise that a world-class tertiary education system is vital to Australia’s social and economic wellbeing.  Lee is working towards increased, sustainable funding for our higher education and VET providers, and to promote strong and viable public university and TAFE systems.

The Greens stand for equitable access to affordable or free education for all domestic students, supported by appropriate living allowances and minimising student debt.  We are currently campaigning for a 10 per cent increase to base funding per student at public universities.
