I think it is a mistake to support the Sea Shepherd crew in their war games that could easily have killed their own volunteers. Indeed the fanaticism of these guys is hardly different from suicide bombers and equally counterproductive for public support. The Ady Gill could only be called a brinkmanship. It met its match in an equally callous Japnese crew, an expensive nil-all draw.
I think the Greens should support the more responsible position taken for example by Greenpeace in applying NVA principles to the whaling struggle.
